What are 5S red tags?

Red tags are a common tool used during the sorting step of 5S. Essentially, these tags are attached to tools and materials  that no longer add value to processes or the facility as they are not needed or rarely used. Red tags are easy to spot an can help workers know where to move the items to, whether they should be kept in the area, or if their value will be reassessed after a period of time.
